Chelsea, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Most people know me as hunigold on social media. I moved from Atlanta to Los Angeles with nothing but a dream. I was a make up artist at the time and that was my passion. I started getting gigs with different reality tv shows and eventually became a celebrity make up artist. At the time it was fun and money was ok but I just wanted more.
My boyfriend came home from prison and I knew I had to figure out a way to make it happen without having to work a 9-5 and live an average life. Makeup got boring and I knew I wasn’t living my life to my fullest potential. I read a book and I found out about e-commerce. It’s a billion-dollar industry and I knew I had to become a part of it. That’s when I found out about drop shipping. It literally has changed my life and now I’m able to live financially free and do anything I want whenever I want. I built a store and ended up making over $100,000 in less than six months. With in the last 2 and a half years I have generated over half a million in e-commerce and now teach a drop shipping course called “From Pennies To Gold”. I show the method I was able to be successful doing in drop shipping and help others make a lot of money online.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It wasn’t a smooth road at all. With my boyfriend coming home from prison and being a felon that alone was stressful. I had no choice but to figure out a way to be successful in a legit way. When I first started drop shipping I didn’t know the right way to market. I thought I could just make a website and create a store selling things online and get sales.I didn’t know about Facebook/IG ads and google. I realized I had to invest in myself and find a shortcut to get the results that I wanted to achieve. That’s when I reached out to a mentor who had the results I was eventually trying to achieve and ever since I did that I’ve been winning ever since.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Hunigold – what should we know?
Now I teach people how to start their own business online doing drop shipping which is a form of e-commerce. Drop shipping is selling a product online with no inventory. I have helped hundreds of clients learn drop shipping and create an additional source of income. What separates me from other people is I’m just real and authentic. I started at the bottom and I grinded my way to where I am today. I truly was meant to help and inspire others. I didn’t come from this background at all. I’m just a hard worker and have the mindset that I can do anything in life as long as I believe it and willing to put the work in to get it. I want to help other people to become entrepreneurs and live the life they deserve to live.

My boyfriend who I share a ten months old child with. He has helped me in so many ways with this business and just mindset. He supports me 1000% percent and his situation being a felon just drove me to really figure things out. I knew I had to be successful and I want to leave a legacy behind for my beautiful daughter so she doesn’t have to work a 9-5 or struggle when she gets older. I also have to thank the mentors I have worked within the last two years doing e-commerce. They showed me winning strategy’s and ways to become successful that I will forever be thankful for.
