Today we’d like to introduce you to Charlotte Giles.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Charlotte. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
It has been said that the two most important days in your life are the day you were born, and the day you find out why.
I was born and raised in France and I have been doing photography for over 10 years now. Throughout my life I have been blessed to witness some of the beauty that this world has to offer. From Germany, Australia, Morocco to Thailand, Laos and Cambodia, the people and places always inspire me.
Life is moment to moment, minute to minute, second to second and its attempting to capture those moments, minutes and seconds through the eye of the lense which allows me to cherish them even more because they are so brief…
So I invite you to live your lives without fear and unapologetically with me so that we can look back and cherish those moments where through the blink of the lense, we made time stand still…
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being a photographer in LA where there is so many great talents out there, and being able to be noticed and leaving my fingerprints in a business that I love was one of my biggest challenges.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Kirtan Photography – what should we know?
The thing that I feel that sets me apart from others, is my passion about finding that inner light we all possess and letting it shine through captured moments. With that being said my specialties are mostly headshot, lifestyle and special occasions.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I think when you are starting a new business or anything else in life which is out of your comfort zone, you have to stay persistent, integers and most of all patient.
