Today we’d like to introduce you to Cassidy Davis.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my Chaotic Singles Business kind of accidentally… I was tragically single in LA for the last five years and I just got sick of it. So last Valentine’s Day I told my single friends to invite a random man from a dating app to my house for a mega first date house party. And they did! We had about 40 random guys show up and it was so fun! I recorded videos from the night (including some bathroom confessionals) and I put it all up on TikTok. Millions of views and several news headlines later, the singles in LA were asking me to throw another party. So I did, but at a venue this time because #growth and I had 500 people buy tickets in 30 minutes with a waitlist of 900 singles trying to get in. Thus, the Chaotic Singles Parties were born! Now I host these parties monthly in Los Angeles and 200-300 singles come out every month to find love by leaning into the chaos.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a chaotic road! I did not have experience in event planning before this, so it was definitely trial by fire. I have learned SO much along the way about working with venues, planning a party of this size, and how to help the singles mingle without getting in the way. Some of my struggles have been finding venues that can withstand a group this size comfortably, creating a safe space for people to date confidently and safely, and balancing my personal/professional life amidst all the wonderful chaos. Luckily the Chaotic Singles community has been so helpful, patient and kind as I learned what it takes to throw these events!
We’ve been impressed with Chaotic Singles Party, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Chaotic Singles Parties are exactly what they sound like… a party full of chaotic singles. I host these parties monthly in Los Angeles and about 200-300 singles come out every month to lean into the chaos for love. We play games, mingle, dance and party. I also always have a really cool sponsor for the events to help me raffle off some amazing prizes (like Super73 bikes or Bellesa vibrators). Next month McDonald’s will be sponsoring our Valentine’s Day event! So even if you don’t find love, you can fall in love with a BigMac and fries.
