Meet Carine Camara

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carine Camara.

Carine, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have always wanted to be of service to people since I was a child. It was a matter of finding a modality that I loved. After college, in my mid-twenties, I looked into various health professions. I was working at an acupuncture college as an office manager, while I was researching my next step. During this time, I had a painful cyst on ovary. The doctor told me that I would need surgery. I immediately recoiled at the notion of undergoing surgery. I asked for some time to see if I could resolve it naturally. I turn to Chinese Medicine, I had several acupuncture sessions, took some herbs and over the course of two months, my cyst dissolved. I was blown away by the power of the medicine, and found my path.

Has it been a smooth road?
The achievement of my Masters in Oriental Medicine, was challenging. However, the real work began when I graduated the program. Being taught the material is quite different than knowing and owning it.

Learning to be an entrepreneur, to market myself and run a business can be challenging at times.

It has been an interesting few years, understanding what does and does not work. There is a lot of personal development and mindset reprogramming that needs to happen. The more I grow as a person, the more my business does.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I’m an acupuncturist, healthy living expert, nutritionist and empath coach. I help people that are ready to live and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I’m passionate about helping people who are experiencing unexplained fatigue, suffering from a chronic illness, in pain, or going thru emotional imbalances such as anxiety, depression or stress. Who are seeking clarity on how they can shift their lives into one that is pain-free, balanced, and filled with vitality.

What sets me apart is me, I use the energetic wisdom of Eastern Medicine, infused with over 16 years of healthy living, and heartfelt intuition to guide my clients towards their health goals.

I’m proud that I’m always learning and studying ways that I can help people. There are endless amounts of knowledge about health and our bodies.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Los Angeles has the beach and the mountains. There are parts of the city that are beautiful. It is quite unique to have a city where one can have such quick access to the ocean.

Least would be the noise, the traffic and the pollution.
