Meet Carachele Tyvan of Ramirez Tran Salon in Beverly Hills

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carachele Tyvan.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. I was Born in Portland and Raised in Palm Springs, I began my career at an early age. Receiving a scholarship to beauty school while still in high school, I graduated with a high school diploma and Cosmetology License at the same time. While finding my way to Los Angeles my career took off immediately. After a fruitful season of perfecting my craft through training and assisting under some of the very best Celebrity Colorist and Extension Artists in the world (Johnny Ramirez, Violet Territi, Kristin Ess), I launched out as an independent colorist and extension artist.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I would have to say my journey has been fairly smooth, I knew it wouldn’t be an easy process to get where I am now but every opportunity has really stretched and molded my character and craft and I wouldn’t have done it any other way.

So, let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Ramirez Tran Salon story. Tell us more about the business.
With a background in Art and a passion for Fashion and Beauty, I have found great joy in being able to use my hands and creativity to make someone feel and look their very best. The way I view hair and beauty is much like my art. My attention to detail can’t be stressed enough. Specializing in color correction and micro-bead extensions, I have perfected the technique of creating hair color that is as natural as possible. Sun kissed pops and soft transitions are my signature to every masterpiece.

Being passionate about bringing new looks and beauty to my clients, I also divide my time working on big campaigns and editorial shoots. I have had the privilege to work with and alongside the top celebrity stylists and brands in the fashion industry; Jen Akins, Kristin Ess, Cim Mahony, Christian Wood, Good American, Good Morning America, Dancing with the Stars, ESPRIT, UGG shoes, Goodhyouman, Richer Poorer, SONY, Groceries Apparel, Revice Denim, Above the Knee, and many more.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I would have to say the role of assisting and training under multiple stylists has furthered my career and has brought forth the best of luck. It has really shaped and molded both my confidence and creativity.

  • My Color typically runs around $375- $450. Prices can vary upon color corrections.
