Today we’d like to introduce you to Bruce Palmore.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Bruce. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
The foundation for Wolf Wireless began around December 2015/January 2016. It went from an idea into a cell phone repair company which now serves not only the city of Pasadena, CA. But Langston, OK and Houston, TX as well.
As a kid, I always had an interest in technology. My Dad always talks about the story of when I was around 5 or 6. He had locked me out of the computer because I was on punishment. He locked it with what was called an MSDOS Lock. I took the computer apart and manually removed the password. I think thats when he knew I was into technology. As a kid, I grew up playing a lot of computer games, not your average Madden, 2k or call of duty. I would play Counter-Strike, War Craft and other types of MMORPG’s ( Massive Multi-Player Online Role Playing Games ). This was before games were able to be played with microphones or even existed.
In high-school, I was always the kid who knew how to use the computer. I typed 95wpm at 13. My background was always technological. I would create websites for organizations I was apart of, create blogs and I had an interested in HTML then taught my self coding and graphic design. My friends always remind me about when Chirps were around, I would sell custom ringtones on their phones both mp3 and MIDI, Being able to change the native software on a device always interested me. Over the years, I just learned more about jailbreaking and rooting devices to unlock the devices full potential. There are many features in phones that we should have stock but they don’t come stock like that.
I did not make the best grades in high school, not because I was incapable of learning, I felt that I was self-educated at home and that a lot of the stuff that I was learning I would never use again nor did I care about. My parents always say “Bruce is not lazy he just does what he wants to do.” Fast forward to this date, the statement is true haha. I got it together my JR/SR year of high school just to prove that I could do school If I really wanted to.
2009 I was accepted to Langston University where I studied Computer Science, Graduated 2015 and moved back to California. The first year back I had no idea what I wanted to do. When you are taught go to school, get good grades, graduate, then get a high paying job, It seems like everyone is lost after the graduate part and that high paying job doesn’t exist. Every job wanted experience and how can I of had experience when I was stuck in the middle of nowhere for five years getting an education! I first started off as an after school teacher at a middle school and I eventually quit because I didn’t agree with the way the program was being ran and I had another opportunity lined up. In college, I pledged Phi Beta Sigma in college and we brought YG to the campus for Sigma Week, Long story short his manager BMoore and myself became acquainted, he presented me with management opportunities & more! 2015-2016 I was managing artists and going on tour, though it was fun, In the music industry things shift quickly. I was no longer making money and had no plan because I thought music was going to be the way.
2016 a friend of mine saw a phone case that I had on my phone and offered to buy it from me. She was in College in New York. Mind you, I just posted this photo on Instagram nothing special. When she bought it, a light bulb went off in my head. I told myself. If someone in New York will buy this, then someone in California would! I got some more cases, hopped on my hoverboard and hit the ground running. Yes, my hoverboard, I had recently got into a car accident and had no car, the hoverboard was my only means of transportation. I started a small e-commerce website put my products online and got to work. My friends and family are EVERYTHING. Many supported the business and helped me get to the point to where I am at now. I went from selling cases to fixing phones, to making your phone your way!
For the past three years, I have built a foundation and an oiled system of fast, efficient, and quality screen replacements for users with iPhones. Not only do we focus on screen repairs, but we customize iPhones with unique custom cases, or if you really want to get fancy, we will disassemble your full device, take the back part of the phone, then color, engrave, and stamp it with your brand, logo, picture, or anything that expresses you. We also replace batteries, miscellaneous parts such as buttons, cameras, charge ports & water damage.
All of our repairs are warrantied, if any customer experiences anything out of the ordinary after receiving a repair, we will fix it free of charge!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road is definitely not a smooth road! The emotional stress that you go through is something that cannot be explained only experienced. One of my best friends Keith & I call one of these feelings a positive depression. Its the state of feeling depressed but everything is still going good. It’s almost up there with stressing out. There’s no scientific definition of what we are calling a positive depression it’s just a name we gave it.
Dealing with bad months, sales aren’t what they were expected. That customer promised he was coming in you front the money for the product and they end up not coming, now you are stuck with this product until it moves. Being able to separate your money. Understanding that the money you make is not YOURS its the Business. Building for longevity not just for monetary gains.
Fail faster so you can learn from these obstacles that you will face, Once you face them the only way is up!

Wolf Wireless is now apart of something much bigger. WOLF is who we are, who I am. We offer so many services and products to where we have branched into different categories.
WOLF Collection is a clothing extension and we have various types of designs coming out! Right now we have our shorts and t-shirt collaboration released. There is much more to come.
We have built websites for Lawyers, Plumbers, Artists, & Small Business owners. We have done merchandise for large world-wide tours and we have even launched a clothing line.
Wolf Wireless Specifically is an iPhone Repair & Specialization shop. We change the actual color and design of your device or case.
What makes me the most proud is the amount of clients and genuine love that Wolf Wireless gets from everyone.
