A child of a Jersey-born, Las Vegas transplant single-parent who fought through all odds to pursue her passion of edifying people, a lways wanted to inspire and heal because those were the very things that kept her alive on so many occasions. Now, this Author, Singer/Songwriter, Host, Curator, Speaker, Show Producer and so much more, feels nothing less than blessed to be able to use her stories to help others. Being both a domestic and sexual violence survivor is just a small part of her journey; she chooses to Victor over Victim every single day!
Las Vegas native, singer-songwriter/poet has more than enough luster to shine even in the city of lights. Brittany Soul © is leading lady in the Spoken Word/Neo-Soul genres. A gifted performing artist that merging jazz, poetry, R&B and gospel; Ms. Soul is the true embodiment of an all-in-one artist. Brittany Soul is such a light in the artist-realm with experience throughout her career as a Drum Majorette, Flutist, Author, Choreographer, Choir President, Musical Theater Lead and Actress, Curator, Host, Speaker and Producer. Brittany, the soulstress, is no stranger to the balance of creativity and business when it comes to leadership in entertainment. Brittany is one-third of the founding host Team for The Odd Perspective Podcast, a Radio program running on an international Positive Radio Network that boasted entertaining segments such as Ms. Soul is consistently involved in events that benefit our community and provide inspirational media, for the better of the world.

Has it been a smooth road?
I’ve spent years of my creative career using art as therapy for unhealthy connections. When I tell you, not only does art help us cope and heal, but it evokes thought, inspires change and motivates us to make different decisions…I needed that so much.
I experienced adversity in the sense that “life itself” at times seemed like the biggest culprit preventing my progress. Issues with project completion, ranging from PCs being unexplainably wiped, external hard-drives failing, studio sessions crashing, the list goes on. These things are discouragement enough, but there were other matters that add to the struggle, such as medical diagnosis, extremely limited resources, being connected to someone that may not believe in you the way you need.
What I learned is that when something is a part of your DNA and there are so many people that are affected by your vision, waiting on you to share it with them-you cannot just give up. Learn from ALL of it!

Brittany Soul, Founder of Soul Stone Group, is a brand of class and dope creative artistry. Singer/Songwriter, Host, Poet, Author, Curator, Show Producer, Speaker and so much more. I specialize in the Curation of events and presently run a weekly event, Uncork Your Thoughts, which is an Open Mic & Vibe Session which brings features from all over the US, takes places at a classy winebar, Cork & Thorn, in Downtown Las Vegas.
I, also, produce, Spoken Soultry Experience, an elevated book tour using a unique and signature technique, I call “Spoken Soultry Technique” where I select talent of various forms and do a never before done collaboration infusing my Spoken Word Poetry (from my Debut book) with another artist’s original song of my choosing. This is a unique experience because it challenges egos and energy in a productive way though. This currently has been touring, with a residency at the Rio Las Vegas Resort, in partnership with an amazing Entertainment Group, AE Group.
As a writer, I contribute to Musical/Theatrical experiences, Film Soundtracks/Scores, Songwriting and, of course, my first book, The Key of Love with Brittany Soul. My debut book is infused poetry, prose, and “golden-kisses” of wisdom, which are value pages that include what you may call, Golden Nuggets. It has some humor and awkward moments in there too.
What I find most rewarding about my product and service is the fact that my canvas is never just a piece of paper. I create art and works for the purpose of edifying people, healing hearts, inspiring minds…and based on the feedback, I receive-The strategy has been effective. I create because I know there are many people seeking something of substance, as well as something funny and entertaining.
I am versatile, and I love it! Not just a Singer, not just a Poet, not just a Hip Hop or Christian-based artist, I’m an eclectic blend and the freedom I gained in accepting that was one of the most liberating moments in my career. I bring my personality to everything, and I think that is why people tend to gravitate to me. At least, that’s what I hear. But another layer to my brand is I create loads of opportunities for others. I resonate with genuine souls and I enjoy working with professional people who understand class and dope art; I am always looking for ways to partner with people that can represent my caliber in my absence.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I think the Music/Artist Industry changes all the time; but I also believe it recycles in ways. Sound is probably what tends to change the most often; as for the appetite for uplifting content, I don’t know how guaranteed it is in the commercial/mainstream aspect. That doesn’t mean I’m interested in changing the message, perhaps the approach is what may shift. BUT since I’m a versatile artists already, change is a playground to demonstrate my authenticity in new ways.
What I believe is niche about what I offer is that people will always need a reminder of Hope.
