Meet Brittany Foster of Another Funny One Productions in Sherman Oaks

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Foster.

Brittany, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I graduated from Arkansas State University in 2012 with Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design. I was blessed enough to get my first design job right out of college working at a full-service marketing agency in my hometown where I was eventually promoted to Art Director. This is where I got my experience working with multiple clients and on so many diverse projects. I learned to turn one switch off and another on to cater to a specific clientele. I also learned to not be prideful with my work. There will always be someone who won’t like it or will want revisions. Being in the agency world definitely thickened my skin as a designer.

While still working at the agency, in my free time, I started helping my sister create and edit various graphics for her YouTube channel. Over time the her channel grew tremendously and her videos turned into comedy/horror shorts that needed artwork to go on major sites like Amazon and imdb.com. Those operations are now what we call Another Funny One Productions. From there we started the branding process with logo and website and then started adding more and more services to our list including photography, resume creation, mentorship, casting, and so much more!

Although I’m in LA quite often, working for Another Funny One Productions has taught me how to work from a distance and still cater to actors and clients who need our services.

I now work at my dream job in my favorite city, Nashville, TN while still being the Art Director at Another Funny One Productions, my other dream job.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I’ve been very fortunate in my career, as I was offered my first job the same month I graduated college and it just so happened to be what I went to school for. Mentally though, I have struggled with the dreaded imposter syndrome throughout my entire career. It’s something I deal with on a daily basis. It helps to talk with others who have the same struggle and to know that I’m not the only one feeling this way!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Another Funny One Productions – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Another Funny One Productions is a full-service production company that specializes in video production, photography, graphic design, and casting just to name a few. As the Art Director, I’m in charge of the creative sector of the business which includes graphic design, photo editing, and storyboarding ideas.

We’ve had some amazing opportunities as a company including providing casting services for multiple projects such as “Unfriended,” “Google Pixel” commercial and Todrick Hall.

What sets us apart is that not only do we have a wide variety of services to offer, but we mentor and manage clients that come our way. We offer advice that will help them succeed in their careers while still being able to provide the tools they need to get them to where they need to be.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I’m looking forward to growth and big opportunities coming our way. Growing can be a challenge but if it’s not challenging then you’re not growing!
