Meet Brittany Brown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Brown.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Ever since I could remember, I’ve always been told I have a voice. Voted “Most likely to brighten your day” in my high school graduating class gave me that confidence and reassurance that I really could relate to anyone. Being around people and making them laugh or just feel good inside has always been so gratifying to me. I later developed a skill in telling my truths, giving my opinion, and making people laugh when I was introduced to Instagram. I seen the ap as more than taking selfies. I used it as a platform to be open and connect my ideals with others. I later began connecting my personality with my passion for modeling. Being published for the first time when I was 18 years. Of age gave me that boost of confidence that people were actually interested in what I had on, how I wore my hair, or how I carried myself overall.

Today, I am a proud ambassador for many clothing companies such as Nike, Fashion Nova, Forever 21, and many others. I’m just one of 1,000s of girls using my platform to give my honest opinions with an edge, make people laugh and feel good as I update them with current events, and show them a lil something sexy while I do it. It’s all work that I’ll never get tired of clocking into. I’ve found success in being me and I’m excited about continuing this journey.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Some of my struggles as far as being a successful social media influencer has been the numbers game. The algorithm changes often and remaining on the timelines of your supporters can be tricky sometimes. When you aren’t in the algorithm, you don’t get as much traffic as you’d normally do. That effects your discoverability. If you’re undiscoverable, companies can’t find you. If companies can’t find you, you can’t get endorsements or any type of financial benefits.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I’m known most for my unapologetic opinions I give on current events, music, hip hop drama, as well as me being a Commercial model.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans are to turn my brand into a business one day. Maybe come out with my own hair products since I’m well known for my natural big mane. Maybe a possible hosting gig? Maybe create my own platform where I could use my voice. Who knows. The opportunities are endless.
