Please tell us more about your brand, Profiles
At PROFILES, we work with clients of all sizes and industries on projects ranging from public relations and media training to reputation management and event planning. I lead our social media and content team, building communities online for clients and helping them create compelling content that reaches target audiences and leverages the power of social for community-building.

Abby Draper and Abby Leigh Studio have been great to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship with them as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about Abby Draper and Abby Leigh Studio and your experience with them.
Abby and I have been collaborating together for over a decade “growing up” together and pitching media in the Baltimore-DC DMA.

We were essentially the pioneers of everything social media for business purposes in 2009-2011 before businesses were really leveraging social media In marketing at all.

We would often trial ideas and learned to incorporate social media into our strategies from its advent to where it is now.

Abby and I also have a unique approach to working with clients and doing general client services. Our approach to our profession, our clients and extended network is always rooted in kindness. For me, that means treating people with compassion and respect. This might seem like a no-brainer, but it’s not something you see every day in business among sometimes-complicated or nuanced corporate and political dynamics.

Abby has always been so supportive of my work and part of her kindness is shown through her thoughtful gift-giving and general thoughtfulness of others. We did an Instagram Live together recently all about kindness and this philosophy as a foundation for doing good business.
