Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Shad.
Brian, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started ProLink while I was in college studying Computer Science back in 1999. My goal was to bring technical expertise to companies of any size who did not have an in-house IT team and I quickly noticed the need for hiring more staff to help with the surging needs of the companies in and around Los Angeles. Our success in bringing suitable solutions to companies in various different industries, enabled us to get lots of referral business, which was the main driving force behind our growth.
Shortly thereafter, we were managing multiple hotels, private schools, medical clinics, manufacturing companies and many other companies in need of expert IT service available to them 24/7. Through our complete managed services, we had proven that companies can completely rely on an IT company to manage their infrastructure and offer them support as appose to having a costly in-house IT team.
Nearly 20 years later, we still go out of our way to carefully monitor our clients’ infrastructures, networks, and Cloud environments like we’re sitting in the next cube. Although our primary focus is greater Los Angeles, today we also manage many clients in New York, Texas and other parts of California, such as the largest imaging company in California with over 80 locations throughout the state.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
IT management and infrastructure costs are always very challenging for businesses to absorb; especially for small businesses. It is often hard to justify the need for an ongoing service plan as companies have a hard time most of our work is done around prevention and our efforts are often unnoticed by the management team until there is a failure within their infrastructure. Throughout the years, we have been aware of the fact that our industry is still young and further work is needed in educating the business owners and managers in the vital role we play every day to ensure that their business is functioning without interruption.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about ProLink Systems – what should we know?
We are a full service managed IT services company specializing in network management and infrastructure support. Our main service is Complete Managed IT Service, where companies outsource the management of all of their servers, computers, mailboxes, and all other parts of their IT infrastructure to us on ongoing basis. We will then monitor and manage all aspects of the computer network for all of their locations for them. We pride ourselves in the fact that most of our clients remain with us for more than 5 years.
This is a direct result of our enhanced protocols in managing and responding to customer needs; our rapid response to our clients which has been guaranteed to be below 30 minutes, has ensured our customers that they can rely on us being there 24/7 to assist with any IT challenges that they may be facing. Further, our team consists of multiple software engineers and network engineers who have great experience in this field and can offer spectrum of knowledge in various different areas of IT.
