Meet Brenda Di Bari of Venice, CA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brenda Di Bari

Hi Brenda, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story is one of transformation, resilience, and rediscovery. Back in 2011, my life changed in an instant when I unexpectedly became a widow after 21 years of marriage. Losing my husband was more than losing a partner; it meant reimagining every part of my life. I was a mom, a wife, and a business co-owner—and suddenly, I had to figure out who I was on my own. That period was one of the hardest of my life, but it forced me to dig deep, rebuild, and reconnect with myself in profound ways.

Part of that rebuilding process led me to coaching—but not as a career, at least not at first. I was simply a person in need of guidance, working with a business coach to find clarity and direction. But the coaching process truly changed my life. It wasn’t just about figuring out practical next steps; something transformational happened. I began to see myself in a new light, realign with my purpose, and create possibilities I couldn’t have imagined before.

That newfound perspective stuck with me, and I realized I wanted to help others unlock the same kind of breakthroughs that had helped me. That’s when I made the decision to become a coach myself. By 2019, I had committed fully to this path, becoming a professional life coach. From there, I immersed myself in learning and growth, earning additional credentials as a Master Certified Health Coach, becoming board-certified, and later discovering the immense power of breathwork. Now, as a 9D Breathwork facilitator, I provide clients with tools that go way beyond surface-level change.

It’s deeply personal for me. I know what it feels like to be at a crossroads, to question everything, and to wonder what’s next. That’s why I built Di Bari Coaching—to offer more than guidance, but a space for radical transformation. At its core, my coaching practice is about helping people not just set goals but completely reimagine what’s possible in their lives.

Looking back, every step of my own path—both the pain and the growth—has brought me to where I am today. It’s taught me that transformation isn’t theoretical; it’s real, it’s powerful, and it’s available to anyone ready to step into it. Along the way, I also remarried, which has been part of the ongoing evolution of this chapter of my life. My mission now is to help others discover that possibility for themselves.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all—in fact, it’s been anything but smooth. One of the biggest challenges for me has always been balancing my role as a solo parent with the demands of building a business from the ground up. Being fully present for my kids has always been my top priority, but as a single mom, I didn’t always have the luxury of giving them my undivided attention. Life became a constant juggling act. There were times when financial pressures loomed large, and logistical hurdles seemed never-ending.

When I made the decision to create my own business, I knew it wouldn’t be easy—but I’m not sure I fully understood just how demanding it would be. There were so many nights I would pour everything I had into my work after my kids went to bed, feeling the weight of building something meaningful not just for myself, but for them as well. Sleepless nights, moments of stress, and times when I wondered if I was really on the right path—all of it was a part of the process.

But here’s what I’ve learned through it all—every struggle pushed me to grow. Those challenges taught me resilience, resourcefulness, and the power of truly committing to what matters most. They helped me find creative ways to move forward when the path seemed impossible, and they reinforced that the vision I had was worth pursuing—even on the hardest days.

Now, as I reflect on everything it took to get here, I see the struggles as part of the story that shaped who I am as a coach and as a person. Helping others to overcome their own blocks and doubts feels deeply personal because I know what that road looks like. It’s far from smooth, but the growth it leads to is worth every step.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My work is a reflection of the life I’ve lived—the experiences, challenges, and self-discovery that have shaped who I am today. Before I became a coach, I spent years exploring the world and, just as importantly, myself. My childhood, while challenging, taught me resilience and the ability to find blessings even in difficult circumstances. Those lessons, combined with my curiosity about people and what drives them, led me toward the path I’m on now.

At the heart of my work is my intuition—a highly attuned ability to connect deeply with my clients. This allows me to help them uncover their “big why,” the driving force behind their passions and purpose in life. My approach is anything but surface-level. I specialize in guiding transformational change that touches not just one part of a client’s life but every piece of who they are. Whether it’s through Core Energy Coaching, 9D Breathwork, or custom tools I create specifically for them, I help people break through limits they didn’t even know existed.

I’m most proud of two things. First, being a mother to my children and seeing who they’ve grown into as individuals. They are, without a doubt, my greatest accomplishments. Second, I’m deeply proud of my own resilience—of how I’ve taken life’s challenges and turned them into opportunities to serve others. Every hardship, every pivot, has taught me something invaluable and has given me the ability to meet my clients where they are and help them step into the lives they’ve only dreamed of.

What sets me apart as a coach is my belief in radical transformation. This isn’t about small, one-size-fits-all changes or incremental progress. My practice is designed to help people completely reimagine their lives and realign with their purpose. Through 9D Breathwork, I guide clients beyond the conscious mind to unlock deep-seated energy and emotions, creating clarity and space for profound growth. With Core Energy Coaching, I help them rewrite the inner narratives that keep them stuck and empower them to show up boldly and authentically in all areas of life.

Ultimately, my coaching isn’t just about results; it’s about creating a new way of being. My clients don’t just set goals—they step into their fullest, most extraordinary selves. I know this kind of transformation is possible because I’ve lived it. My life is proof that no matter how big the challenges, the potential for growth and alignment is even bigger. Helping others discover that truth within themselves is, without question, the work I’m most passionate about.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that uncovering the true vision of your dreams and desires is the pivotal first step to making them a reality. It might sound simple, but in my experience—both personally and professionally—most people don’t start with full clarity on what they actually want. It’s not enough to have a vague sense of where you’re heading; you need to give yourself permission to dream boldly, to envision the life you want in vivid detail, and to connect deeply to your “why.”

For me, this lesson became clear through my own rebuilding process after losing my husband. When everything I thought I knew about my life shifted, I realized that I had to dig deep, not just to survive but to uncover what a fulfilled and aligned life could look like as a single mom and as a person charting a whole new path. That clarity didn’t come all at once; it required peeling back layers, getting honest about what mattered most to me, and giving myself space to reimagine the possibilities.

This lesson has become a guiding principle in my coaching. Helping my clients uncover their deepest dreams and align with their purpose is always the starting point. Transformation can’t happen unless you truly know what you’re working toward—what lights you up, what makes you feel alive, and why it matters so much to you. Once that vision is clear, the path forward becomes not only possible but exhilarating.

I’ve also learned that clarity on your vision is more than just goal-setting; it’s about tapping into the energy of what you want, long before it’s visible in your life. It’s allowing yourself to dream beyond limitations and take ownership of your capacity to create something extraordinary. That’s why my work focuses on going beyond surface-level changes—it’s about helping clients discover the boldest, truest vision of their lives, and then dismantling every block holding them back from stepping into it.

Uncovering that vision is the foundation, and seeing my clients fully align with it—to the point where they no longer just imagine their dreams but live them—is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work. This lesson has shaped not only my life but also the work I’m blessed to do every day. Dreams aren’t just meant to exist in our minds—they’re meant to be realized, one intentional step at a time.
