I started Golden Quality hair collection after I had my son. I named it after his last name “Golden.” I wanted to have a business, and I felt like Hair was the perfect industry, Just being a woman myself and knowing how much I pay to get my hair done. So, I invested 3 years into building my brand and finding the perfect Virgin hair. I wanted to create a brand that expresses a look of softness, power, sophistication, and beauty, creating a captivating aura that resonates with the goddess within each of us. It’s a reminder of our innate elegance and strength, embracing the essence: if you look good, you feel good. I used my 9-5 to fund all my business needs. Knowing how hard I work to make my visions come through makes this business means so much more to me, it’s definitely my baby.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I would say I have had a smooth road I’m learning as I go, I would say I’ve had challenges but not struggles. Every challenge that I overcome is making me a better businesswoman.
