Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandy Casey.
Brandy, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and have also always valued helping people feel good about themselves. I first started my career as a nurse, caring for patients and soon realized that helping people and their well-being was the most rewarding part of my profession. I was inspired to pursue the aesthetics to transform the way people felt about themselves.
After working for a few doctors in the industry, I was intrigued to open my own business. I imagined every detail, from where I wanted to open my first location to the type of experience and service I wanted to provide. It was shortly thereafter that Nubella Med Spa was born. I started with zero patients and now have built a practice of over 1300 patients. I’m in the process of opening my second location in Arizona and have plans to expand in Southern California and surrounding states. The growth and success of my practice is exhilarating.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When I first opened my doors in 2018, I was a little scared — like what if I don’t succeed? It’s a competitive market. But I was confident with my expertise and precision, and with the client care I provided. Although it was a little daunting in the beginning, it didn’t take long for my customer list to grow from patient referrals, word of mouth, and of course I do have a marketing team!
Please tell us about NuBella Med Spa.
We do a variety of aesthetic services, however, the ones that are highest in demand are our anti-aging botox treatments and fillers. We’re known for our high-quality patient care and expertise supporting and enhancing the natural beauty of our patients. We provide a very customized and personal experience to each of our clients, whom we care deeply about. I’m so proud of the clientele and relationships we’ve built. I have a wide variety of clients who want to feel good about themselves. It’s the best feeling seeing my patients achieve their goals with my treatments — I love being able to enhance the lives of my patients by helping them feel great about themselves.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Having the opportunity to give back and mentor aspiring aesthetic nurses; being able to give back in this industry is so rewarding. I’ve also been fortunate to participate in many local charities through my business, giving me the opportunity to give back to my community.
