Meet Brandon Brown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Brown.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was born on Juneteenth, and raised on the east side of buffalo, NY. I am 1 of 8 children and the first and my family to graduate high school as well as college. I have a bachelors degree in criminal justice and moved to LA a month after I graduated college because I didn’t want to work a 9-5 forever. I hit the ground running in LA and have had my wildest dreams come true.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
NO! Being an actor Is like going on a job interview everyday, multiple times a day and being told no 95% of the time. It takes a crazy person to continue to pursue this career but also a resillient person that is determined and won’t take no for an answer.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am a full times actor in LA for five years now. I have been in about 100 commercials for brands like Nike, Taco Bell, Kelly blue book, chase bank, you name it I’ve done it. I have also had guest stars, co-stars on tv shows as well as done a bunch of indie features and short films. I am also a classically trained oil painter and specializes in portrait painting which I sell from my social media. I am the best at what I do and my toughest critic so what’s good to other people is mediocre to me.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. Sure you can collect crystals and stones but you have to work hard as well and always do your best so you know u did all you could do. Everything on my vision board has come true.
