Boone and Ali, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Intrepid Tapes was founded in 2014 as a comprehensive solution for Taped Auditions and Reel Editing. Being actors ourselves, we wanted to provide a quality product at the most affordable price possible!
Has it been a smooth road?
It took a bit of patience in the first year, as we were building our client base – not knowing if we would have 20 clients in a month, let alone hundreds. Since then, we’ve been ecstatic to see our client base grow simply through referrals and word of mouth. Of course, there is always the technical glitch that can throw off our rhythm. Ali also once locked herself out of our editing room.

We are a business for actors specializing in Taped Auditions and Reel Editing. Artists around Los Angeles have come in to professionally tape everything from Feature Film and Pilot auditions filming in Los Angeles, Atlanta and overseas to character reels and musical theater auditions for Broadway.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Lucky for us, Los Angeles is the perfect city for our business to thrive. It is a business 90% dependent on actors and performers who have to deal with the audition process becoming more digital. Business is demand and supply and Los Angeles has a lot of demand for making actors lives easier. Of course, we have hopes to one day expand to other actor-friendly cities!
