Meet Boogie Fre$h

Today we’d like to introduce you to Boogie Fre$h.

Boogie Fre$h is a rising rapper, singer, and producer out of West Los Angeles.

Born in 1997 in Paris, France. Boogie Fre$h comes from a French and Senegalese background. His childhood was immersed in both cultures even though he moved to L.A at the age of two. Fre$h has music in his blood stemming from his grandfather who was not only a musician and singer but the first Senegalese artist to tour in the United States. Boogie Fre$h began to express his passion for the art at just four years old. Constantly singing and dancing it was clear he would end up in the limelight. He soon taught himself to play the keyboard. At twelve years old he began producing music. By fourteen he’d built a professional studio in his home and learned to engineer. He attended Hamilton High School Music Academy which gave him the resources to continue to perfect his craft.

Boogie Fre$h is, in fact, a breath of Fre$h air amongst upcoming artists today. Merging his culture with trap sounds and modern r&b, Boogie Fre$h gives us unique tracks that immediately capture you. His influences are versatile across the board. He grew up listening to Snoop Dogg, Erykah Badu, The Beatles, Kendrick Lamar, Bob Marley and Michael Jackson. “It is important to stay true to yourself and pursue what truly brings you happiness,” says the young artist. “I am my best self in the studio. Performing feels natural, it is an incomparable high.” Fre$h has goals to tour the world, conquering the states first and then, of course, international stages. It is vital that he becomes an example to his peers and those coming up behind him. It is necessary that he make his mark in music and become an influential player in the game. Be on the lookout for Boogie Fre$h!

Has it been a smooth road?
It’s been very smoove. I show love and support to many people and many artists and get the same back.

The only struggles to me would be just life period. I try my best to not let life get in between me and music but I slip up sometimes lol.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I specialize in writing and being a recording artist. I’m known for my catchy hooks and smoove flows. What I would say that mostly sets me apart from others would be the fact that I am bilingual. I use French in my songs as well, which is something a lot of artists don’t and can’t do.
