Meet Bryanne Lawless of BLND Public Relations in Hermosa Beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryanne Lawless.

After graduating from UCSD with a degree in Communications, Bryanne moved back to Los Angeles and started her career at a PR firm in Beverly Hills. She was disappointed in the industry and ventured off to start her own successful local event production company. During this time she was offered a position on the other side: working for a media company. Hard at work in the center of an editorial industry, Bryanne learned to navigate the intricacies of the publishing world, getting to know the habits of editors in the retail, beauty, and lifestyle brand industries. Working on the opposite side of the PR field opened Bryanne’s eyes to the opportunity for PR in the local area. Bryanne has successfully launched lifestyle and hospitality brands, and is a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Council contributing her expertise to publications such as Forbes and Inc. Bryanne’s pride lies within watching her client’s business expand and continue to grow as if it were her own.

Has it been a smooth road?
The road to success is never short and smooth. From growing pains to clients who introduce emerging and controversial industries, we’ve had our fair share of potholes and steep speed-bumps. Our number one way to tackle these impediments is to recognize, remember and grow from the lessons we learn through each obstacle.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the BLND Public Relations story. Tell us more about the business.
BLND PR is a boutique public relations agency located in Hermosa Beach, CA specializing in public relations, social media management and content creation. We’re most proud of our incredibly versatile team that tackles each client with an eager and passionate mindset, combining our unique perspectives to create perfectly well-informed plans. What sets us apart is our extensive experience in a breadth of industries, giving us opportunities to thrive everywhere from technology to hospitality.

What role has luck (good luck or bad luck) played in your life and business?
Our actions since we’ve started haven’t always been calculated. They’ve been reactions to our growth based on all types of luck – good and bad. In our line of work, not only are we leading the industry by creating impactful content, but we are also constantly predicting outcomes and are forced to prepare for every possible situation. When luck’s on our side we reap the positive benefits of hard work and consistency. When luck has been against us, we embrace the opportunity to strengthen a facet of our company that may have not been as solid before. Our success is based on our growth and ability as a company to be resilient and tactful.
