Behzad, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I studied photography in London along side with a degree in graphic design I started Behzad Photography 27 years ago in a small office located in Beverly Hills which I shared with a couple who worked in immigration. Within 5 years I established a name for myself in the Beverly hills area and moved to a much larger office in the heart of Beverly hills on Wilshire blvd seconds away from the BMW dealership of Beverly hills. I occupied that studio space for over 16 years. My signature which is also my company’s logo was recognized by everyone in the area as one of the top photography studios in the Los Angeles / Beverly Hills. 100% of our client base is off of referral. We believe that if you offer great service to your client not only will they continue to come back but they will advertise and refer clients for you as well. Has it been a smooth road?
After acquiring our studio on Wilshire for more than 15 years, a development company purchased the building and converted it to a medical facility. We were forced to relocate which was the hardest thing for me and my company to have to do. My studio on Wilshire Blvd. provided a lot of exposure that helped get my name recognized. When I switched locations my business did take a hit and we had to work extra hard to get back on track. After 4 years on Robertson, we finally moved back to a prime location on Wilshire where we will continue to grow and expand.
