Meet Benjamin Geller of Geller Dentistry in Larchmont Village and Hancock Park

Today we’d like to introduce you to Benjamin Geller.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Benjamin. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My wife and I started Geller Dentistry in 2014. We took over the practice from another dentist who is a very good friend of mine. He retired and had been at our location for over 20 years. Our transition was very smooth and our practice began to grow very quickly. We feel truly blessed to be in such a great location and have worked very hard to make all of our patients feel like part of our family.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Our transition has been smooth but certainly required a lot of hard work. We acquired the business two months after the birth of our second child. We had both been practicing dentistry for several years but it took some time to get a handle on how to run the business side of the practice and implement the systems we wanted to provide the best possible service to all of our patients.

Please tell us about Geller Dentistry.
We are a dental practice that offers general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and prosthodontic treatment. Dr. Gloria Geller is a general dentist and I am a prosthodontist that also does general dentistry. Prosthodontics is a dental specialty where one trains for 3 extra years becoming especially proficient in cosmetic dentistry, veneers, crowns, bridges, implants, and dentures. We are most proud to be a family-run practice that treats all of our patients like family. Our office is in a beautiful craftsman home that was converted into a dental practice. We pride ourselves on doing excellent dentistry and providing exceptional service to our patient. All of our staff has been trained to treat our patients like a guest that he’s been invited for dinner their home.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Dr. Huffaker provided us with such an incredible opportunity in taking over his business that there is honestly nothing I would have done differently in establishing and growing our business. The only thing I can think of is that I wish I had been less nervous when we got started.
