Meet Barrie Petersen of Love to Live In Long Beach CA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Barrie Petersen.

Barrie came to real estate thru her passion of design, architecture & aptitude for connecting with people. Prior to real estate Barrie worked in the competitive garment industry doing product development for kids clothing companies. A Southern California native, she has enjoyed living in Long Beach since 1994. Barrie is one of Long Beach’s biggest fan.”

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Life sometimes get in the way of tasks and responsibilities. That’s why I chose to leave the clothing industry and stay local in real estate. That being said, I’m am in a very competitive industry. The business does not seek you out. You have to work hard to earn peoples trust.

Please tell us about Love to Live in Long Beach Barrie Petersen Real Estate.
I love my job. I get to help people during one of life’s biggest decisions. I like my clients to feel confident and comfortable working with me. One reason I sell real estate is to do “it” differently from others. It should feel collaborative. Your goals and needs are what we are focused on.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Random question answer: Long Beach has so many amazing neighborhoods and tons of history. I love seeing all the different types of architecture. We are like a big melting pot with a small-town feel. I have to say, there is not much to dislike.
