Today we’d like to introduce you to Avi Ben Dov.
Avi, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started my Home improvement relations in 1987. Worked many years as a salesperson and a project manager till it was time for me to get on my own. I established Finesse Remodeling in 2009 and proud to have been serving LA home owners ever since.
How we got to where we are today is by keeping a very personal service and micro management of the remodeling process throughout all the stages of a project from planning and pre-construction to execution and completion
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Running a business is never a smooth road. There are always obstacles and bumps which you have to navigate around. However determination and loyalty to your vision are key to get to where you want to be. Then comes the challenge of keeping yourself up there which I have to say is a task of its own

Finesse Remodeling and Consulting Inc. is a remodeling firm serving the greater LA area. We are specializing in Kitchen and Bathroom remodeling, additions of new structures to existing homes and complete renovations.
We are known to be a full turn-key boutique remodeling firm with a very strong product knowledge which is key in an industry that is constantly evolving. We offer full service from planning and design, assistance in selection of materials and most importantly a full understanding of our clients of the full concept and the end results and what can they be expecting. We have learned through experience that those factors are key for the success of a project.
On top of it we add a hands on full time micro management of the project and a hand in hand home owner guidance throughout the process.
I would say one of the main reasons which really makes us different from our competition is our business strategy to keep “Finesse Remodeling” small by design, allowing us to give a personal service to the home owner who is working directly with the owner and the field management team with no middle men
What were you like growing up?
When it comes to growing up, I can say I really like the slow organic growth of our firm year to year while keeping in a personal touch with our clients. The result of this organic process is allowing us to keep a steady and healthy company while getting the recognition of our clients in the shape of hundreds of five star reviews all throughout the web.
