Today we’d like to introduce you to Austin Adduci.

I recently purchased Dtox Day Spa, as I saw that it was a well established day spa that had tremendous potential to grow… Dtox has been the shining beacon of luxury days spas in Los Angeles for over a decade now and I believe can grow into multiple locations and be the new gold standard for luxury day spa’s in Los Angeles.

My background is in real estate and business development. Owning a local real estate brokerage, for nearly a decade, gave me my foundation for business development and growth.

Has it been a smooth road?
The transition and take over of Dtox has been fairly smooth, as it is a fairly well-built business. However, the trouble has come from exposure. Commonly, the bigger entities saturate the market with their own marketing materials, which ultimate drowns out the smaller groups. However, I have found that most clients prefer our individualized attention and brand to the bigger groups. Thus, allowing us to shine through in reviews and discussion boards.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
While LA is a VERY competitive market, I do believe its is a great place to start, as it does support local and small business in their early stages. However, I believe that LA, as a city, could do more for their small businesses. Perhaps in the way of cuts for utilities, taxes, etc.
