Meet Attila Csupo of Attila Csupo Real Estate in Westwood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Attila Csupo.

Attila, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
With a passion for sales, I have worked for numerous telecommunication companies in Los Angeles. While most people can have a license to sell real estate, they may not have the capability to negotiate deals and to build business relationships. I received my license in 2007 and has been a Realtor ever since.

I began with Coldwell Banker Residential and transitioned to Keller Williams Realty Westside in 2009. Sold many multi-million dollar properties and have been involved in the commercial market as well, including, but not limited to acquiring a restaurant lease for a 15 years’ term.

Back in 2012, the Bio Channel ran an episode of their Celebrity House Hunters series with Corey Feldman, as his agent identified one of my Encino listings as a good fit for the actor’s needs, hence my 15 minutes fame on television.

I continually target properties with values and look for clients that are serious and don’t play games with their agents. Unqualified buyers are always a waste of time and I quickly move on to others that appreciate the hard work I provide for them. I don’t get paid until the deal closes. People may have the impression that we get a base salary, but that is not the case.

To bridge through between escrows, I am also a California Notary Public, closing loan documents as a Certified Loan Signing Agent,

And if that’s not enough, I have a background check business as well for live scan finger printing, approved by the Department of Justice and the FBI.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The market conditions are changing constantly. Both the real estate and loan signing business could hit a road block. When interest rates are high, the signings get effected. When real estate prices are up, it becomes the buyer’s market. You can imagine the cash flow situation…. The more businesses I have at the same time, somehow, I can make it happen to survive…

Please tell us about Attila Csupo Real Estate.
Attila Csupo Real Estate, under the umbrella of Keller Williams Realty, is known for specializing in high end clients and properties. The marketing technique used is different from other agent’s trash generating mail campaign.

I am proud of my achievements in all areas of my business, as I am nearing the first ten years in being business for myself.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
To manage cash flow better and not wasting it on all; kinds of unneeded business items would be my first priority, as it is extremely easy to blow money on new technologies that are not necessarily needed to survive.
