Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley North.
Ashley, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I graduated from University of Washington with a degree in communications but after graduating I realized I wanted to get into fashion styling. So I moved from Seattle to LA to pursue that. I went to FIDM and started assisting stylists while I was in school. My first client I started working with on my own was Kevin Hart. I’ve been working with him now for about 10 years. I also worked with a partner for many years and we worked with people like Usher, J Cole, and Justin Bieber.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It definitely hasn’t been an easy road. But everything I’ve done has been great experience and created a strong foundation for what I’m doing today.

My company, Ashley North Style, is a fashion styling company. We focus on detailed men’s fashion, we incorporate bot high and low pieces to create the perfect look!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We plan to expand into a styling agency catering to women and men’s styling needs.
