Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashi Jelinek.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Ashi. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
As a mom, I was looking for a healthy, hydrating beverage for my kids without all the sugar as well as a way for them to get the necessary vitamins they need without causing cavities. I couldn’t find either solution and decided to create a unique product that could solve both of these problems.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It is a roller coaster. Launching a brand that is not only disrupting a stagnant category but at the same time is also creating a new category. There are always going to be challenges when you are innovating and questioning the status quo. But it is rewarding when you know you are providing all families with something that has been missing!

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the KidsLuv story. Tell us more about the business.
KidsLuv is the first zero sugar, vitamin enhanced beverage for kids. I am proud to be able to provide families with a zero sugar drink option as well as a new way for kids to get the essential vitamins they need into their diet. We are the first to give an alternative way to get hydrated without the sugars as well as get your daily dose of vitamins.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I think a little luck, or being in the right place or as I like to think of it, right headspace at the right time (haha) has a lot to do with how things play out for both good and bad. But I think the most important thing is persistence and not giving up. Keeping your vision, being flexible and open to ideas and staying humble and focused.
