Meet Arthur Bagumyan of Magic Jump Rentals

Today we’d like to introduce you to Arthur Bagumyan.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Magic Jump Rentals was founded by father Andranik Bagumyan in 1996. We started off manufacturing inflatables and selling nationwide, but later started renting ourselves in the local area. We branched off the two companies years later making them separate entities. Today Magic Jump Rentals is managed by Andranik’s son, Arthur Bagumyan, while the manufacturing is managed by the older son Sarmen Bagumyan. Magic Jump Rentals has grown to 3 locations, currently serving the greater Los Angeles County, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas. With the biggest variety of amusement rides in the Southern California area to choose from, Magic Jump Rentals has grown to be the biggest amusement party rental company servicing the Southern California area. Magic Jump Rentals prides itself in constantly adding new attractions while at the same time keeping the inventory new and updated with the latest safety features.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Just like any other company, we had a lot of bumps along the way and obstacles that we had to overcome. One of the most challenging things in our industry is finding the right people to do the job. Thankfully we have had a lot of great personnel come through our doors, and most have been with us for years. The event industry is fun and exciting for many but does bring its challenges with long hours and heavy work. Most people get tired after a few years so we have a lot of turnaround with our staff. We have learned throughout the years to be patient and flexible with workers since most have a second job. The rental industry is mostly weekends so many workers are part-time and have a second or primary job during the week. So as a company we have to be flexible and patient, but at the same time expect top notch work and the level of service that we as a company come to hold.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Magic Jump Rentals – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Magic Jump Rentals provides party rentals, primarily portable inflatable amusement rides. The bulk of our clients are backyard parties, but we do also service a lot of big events like school carnivals, corporate events, and city events. We have the largest variety of inflatable amusement rides in the area, from your regular bounce house, to combos, giant slides, water slides, obstacle courses, interactive games, mechanical bulls, portable rock walls, euro bungee trampolines, zip line rides, photo booths, carnival games, food machines, tables, chairs, and tents. We are known for our clean and new products that sets us apart from our competitors. We also strive to provide the best customer service along with convenience and easiness of rental. As a company, we are proud of the fact that we can help out many great organizations like non-profits, school fundraisers, and the like during their events. We are proud that we get to put smiles on kids faces, as well as adults sometimes.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Our plan for the future is to constantly add new and fun rides, as well as other complimentary products for parties and events. We plan to constantly expand our inventory of rentals to keep our clientele interested and excited. We also plan to expand the areas we service with new locations in the California area as demand continues to grow.
