Meet Arisce Wanzer of @Ariscestocrat in Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Arisce Wanzer.

Arisce, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started modeling when I was about 17 years old and kept at it until I moved my career towards  hosting events and  doing stand-up comedy. The journey so far has lead me to hosting my own web shows and a sold out LA Pride last year.

Has it been a smooth road?
Absolutely not, many bumps can be had with a job that takes you into this many realms of the entertainment industry. There are a lot of people that are going to tell you no, and many doors will be closed on you, and It’s up to you to stay the course and keep going.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I’m my own business and brand. I’m represented by my agents and managers, both at Abrams’ Artist Agency and Slay Model Management, but they are only responsible for some of my bookings, I get a lot of opportunities on my own.

I am an all around entertainer from stand-up comedy to acting, voice over, event/red carpet hosting, and on occasion runway and print modeling. I am most proud of the milestones I continue to reach in my career. Hosting the sold-out LA Pride this year and being the face of a major campaign goals and major highlights of my career.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes, it’s the city of entertainment so business has been great for me here. And I’d recommend going out and networking as much as humanly possible. This city is all about who you know and putting yourself out there helps with that.

I think there are enough opportunities to make friends out here, to be plainly honest. There are at least two events a day, it’s hard to keep track sometimes.
