Today we’d like to introduce you to Arien Smith.
Arien, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Growing up in North Carolina I always would go the extra mile in every school project. While most kids where writing papers and presentations. I would make music videos, record songs, develop websites and more. After attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I played football and received two academic scholarships, I moved to Los Angeles where I eventually fell in love with helping businesses improve their digital presence. I’ve worked with local companies including The Gotham Group, Olive Bridge Entertainment, WOLA FItness and Affinity Nightlife as well as many more across the US.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was difficult at first because I had never thought of it as a career just something I really enjoy. So it took time to develop the correct processes to streamline the client’s vision to reflect on my websites.
Please tell us about AB Digital.
AB Digital is a digital company that specializes in Web design. But projects range from Online marketing, E-Mail Marketing, and more. The difference with AB Digital is the understanding of what each business needs. Too many times web developers don’t understand the business. Being able to understand each business and what makes it complex helps AB digital give clients websites that benefit the client more than just a simple landing page. I’m really proud of how much AB Digital has grown and is continuing to grow.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from childhood is going to Carolina Panthers games with my mom.
