Today we’d like to introduce you to April Misloski CMT.
April, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
It all started three and a half years ago when I was searching for a meaningful career that would help me add value to people’s lives. I was searching for my life’s purpose and at a low point in life when I decided to use the law of attraction to get me somewhere. So, I started to write in my journal and tell myself every day that someone I didn’t care who but someone was going to PAY me to go to school for something that would lead me to what I was searching for. Finally, after months of doing this, I was offered an opportunity to get paid to become a Massage Therapist and after a moment of hesitation, I took the opportunity and never looked back. After working hard in massage school and passing all the requirements, I now go between working at a 5-star spa three days a week and the rest of the time focusing on my private practice Green Goddess Massage which focuses on traveling to the client for an in-home massage. I specialize in Cannabis (CBD) massages for the divine feminine (women).
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I have had many struggles along the way as manifesting doesn’t come easily to me, I really work at it. I am also a single mom and while I was going to school being paid, I still couldn’t make ends meet off that so I kept a weekend job switching from that and going to school Monday thru Friday on top of running a household was challenging to say the least. Many times, I wanted to quit and I even had a couple of meltdowns, but I survived and I am so grateful for the opportunity I was given and I will never take that for granted.

Massage Therapy is not just a luxury, it has many health benefits such as improved circulation, uplifted mood, boosted immunity, emotional release and just plain feels great. I specialize in traveling to the homes of women while creating a safe environment using CBD oil to massage the pains and aches away. Which can aid in healing the body as a whole. What sets Green Goddess Massage apart from others is that I add value to the lives of the women I massage by also teaching them to care for themselves with cannabis. I am committed to taking massage therapy for women to a higher level.
What were you like growing up?
I have always grown up pretty introverted and I found out later on that it’s because I have always been an empath meaning, I absorb other people’s emotions like a sponge, it causes me anxiety and stress and so, I stayed away from people and even started using alcohol and drugs to numb my sensitivities. Now that I have embraced my empathic intuition, I have discovered that I am a healer and I can use that empathy to help other women.
