Today we’d like to introduce you to Antwuan Hill.
Antwuan Hill aka ACE epitomizes integrity in his business partnerships and relationships. The proud son of a truck driver and factory worker, ACE learned very early in life the cost and fruit of true labor. ACE started his early career off as a real estate agent allowing him to fund his own car service business in 2007 procuring his own fleet of luxury vehicles.
In 2012, he created A Concierge Services now ACE Elite Services which took his self-made luxury car service business further, utilizing an Uber-esque meets Netflix model as a sole broker in the industry. ACE founded his business on the principles he was raised by – integrity, dependability, and utmost quality. Period.
On the current road to scaling his business enterprise, ACE is currently using his position and company to mentor youth and serve his local community. ACE attended the University of Tennessee.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
With any business, bumps, roadblocks, potholes and road closures will meet you along the way. At the onset, I had a vision but no resources. I used my personal car as the first business vehicle. Now, there’s a vehicle but no clients and very little money for marketing and advertising.
So, I’m left with literally going door to door to businesses offering my services. This leads to a little success and gained the attention of business investors in the area.
One investor fronted us with nine vehicles to scale up quickly. We used this miraculous momentum to create a very demanding presence in town only to have it all washed away when the investor suddenly pulled out and took the vehicles.
We eventually came across another investor who was aware of our situation. He fronted cash to immediately purchase two additional vehicles allowing to maintain, somewhat, the momentum that we created.
The two additional vehicles steadied the ship until a major rainstorm caused water to get into the motor of one of the vehicles and totaled it. With no immediate funds to repair the engine and a decline in revenue, the investor pulled the other vehicle back, and we were suddenly back at square one.
This began a series of unfortunate events including periods of having no vehicles to service clients, car repossessions, new investors, failed promises and a whole laundry list of struggles.
Ace Elite Services – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Ace Elite Services exists in three capacities:
1) We are a full-service luxury black car transportation company. Offering the best in chauffeured services.
2) We offer exotic car rentals in certain cities within the U.S.
3) We are the first and only company to offer a nationwide airport transfer membership.
Over the years we have garnered a noticeable reputation in being able to service a variety of clients all across the country. In 12 years of service, we have been able to network and partner with over 1500 affiliates across the country. We can accommodate almost any need in any city at a moment’s notice.
We have been blessed to be able to weather the storm of a slow start, various obstacles and still be a thriving force in the industry today.
Our industry knowledge and ability to service a variety of clients, big or small, in their unique ways has allowed us to extend our services to Fortune 500 companies, entertainers, athletes and some of the wealthiest people in the world.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Our proudest moment may have come in 2015. We were commissioned by FIFA to assist in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Over the course of the month of July, we serviced team officials, staff and team players with 35 vehicles and chauffeurs in six different cities including the championship match in New York City. This was quite a feat considering the overwhelming logistics it took to orchestrate in a short period of time. Alas, we did it.
