Meet Ann Wayman of Table for One Day Spa in Westminster

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ann Wayman.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Ann. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Thirteen years ago I got into the health and wellness field and I truly love to do. To start off my view on massage therapy is it should be looked at as part of one’s preventive maintenance for optimal wellness. Working in many spa’s in the Long Beach & OC areas I wanted to strike out on my own. So I started the business “Table for One Day Spa” as a mobile day spa that provided spa treatments for in-home clients, spa parties, corporate onsite parties and events. Traveling to the high-rises in the LA area for the corporate parties was so fun and the employees loved it. But I decided 9 years ago to return to a walk-in spa due to the many request from clients. Now I sublease in a perfect spot in Westminster and my clients love it!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
In the wellness field things are constantly changing and keeping up with the next best thing is never smooth ride. So if I’ve learned one thing it’s listen to your clients’ needs and health issues. So that they walk out feeling relaxed, balanced and recharged.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Table for One Day Spa – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
At the spa I mainly customize all of my client’s sessions for massage. Everyone comes in with different issues and wants, so my job is to get you feeling your best. I also offer spa treatments of awesome scrubs, body masks and aromatherapy.

At the spa, I’m here to take care of the weekend warriors (I love to hike), the over worked & stressed employee, the just give me relief from this aging body client.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans for the future is to continue to do what I enjoy and help out with my client’s wellness needs.
