Meet Angie Gonzalez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angie Gonzalez.

Angie, kick it off for us – tell us some of the story.

Ravid Gonzalez and I are the owners of Gonzalez Wedding Services. We started our business in 2006 as Notary Public, Insurance Agents, and Tax Agents, later as Wedding Officiants. We started our business from home in a $50 (from clearance section) desk situated in the garage of our home, After a few clients and honest customer service by word of mouth our services and clientele expanded, a year later we had the opportunity to open a small office in the city South Los Angeles, CA. still in business! Now our office is located in the city of Torrance, CA. in the South Bay area.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Like any other self-employed the struggles have been the lack of knowledge and no help, Often times we sacrifice holidays and weekends, either getting our name out there or just to be readily available for our clients, we like and love what we do. Nice, good and continuous clients always help. All we have done and achieved has been by our own effort, we have hit many struggles schedules, availability of officiants, special requests to mention some, but with positive attitude we always saw them as opportunities for improvement, positive attitude has by far been our key for success, we have three boys Joey, Gino, and Vito our inspiration for staying alive and successful.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Gonzalez Wedding Services story. Tell us more about the business.
We are wedding officiants! We love to help couples to have the wedding of their dreams. that’s why we work with wedding planners, event coordinators, furthermore, we go to banquet halls, private locations, hotels, churches, beaches, parks, just about anywhere to officiate a wedding. We basically go to the place and legalize the marriage, we are an extension of the Los Angeles county Clerk Office, by the power granted by the state of California we pronounce couples as husband and wife. Our specialty is that we do anything possible to help the couple to take the stress away, the party alone is stressful enough, So we pretty much guide and help them to have a smooth marriage process. The stress-free process is definitely what we are known for besides being respectful, punctual, and very reliable being nice and stress-free process is what our clients know us for. Word of mouth is by far something that we take pride on, we believe that if you smile the whole world will smile with you, we are the kind of people that do the right thing, just because is the right thing to do, not do it for the recognition. by always putting the client’s interest first we are able to create successful interactions with our clients allowing us to be referred to friends and family by our own clients. that sets us apart friendliness, accuracy, and reliability. we always work with our clients to make sure that if is possible we will get it done.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
None, luck has played no role with us. We do believe that you get more with sugar that you get with salt, Thus blessings are something we are constantly showered with, but with hard work come great rewards and successful interactions both in life and business.
