Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Scuto.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
We are a family operated business that opened the first store about 20 years ago. We opened and operated 5 different locations that eventually we passed as an ownership to the chef or a managing partner, retaining only the ones that represented a challenge for us. Right now we have 4 stores, 3 concepts. 2 are Trattoria Amici, one in the Westside and the mothership in Glendale. Amici is an informal fine dining concept with northern Italian food and extensive wine programs. We have a fast casual concept, Deluca’s Deli that sells gourmet sandwiches and select retail imports from Italy. Our newest concept is Ombra, a tapas and wine bar in a beautiful open space at the Americana at Brand.
