Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Barton.
Andrea, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m a wife, mother, and talent agency owner in Los Angeles county. I actually started as a talent manager 5 years ago. I managed reality TV stars from various shows & booked artist for hosting & performances. I learned so from being a manger and I wanted to do more in this industry. I worked under a few agents then decided to open up my own Talent agency starting in kern county. I also have a set of twin girls in the industry, Kennedy & Madison Hairston. We’re located in Beverly Hills, we have been open for 3 years now. Our talent has booked tons of projects from Luvs diapers, Disney, Walmart, shopkins, print ads, & more. I’m so excited to see how much more we will grow as a company in this business.
Has it been a smooth road?
Oh man! No, starting as a new agent is a lot of work. It’s like being the new kid on the block. You have to build relationships. No one knows you, everyone is already in their own cliques. No one hands you anything, I’m still the new agent on the block three years later. That’s why it’s always good to network & always be grateful for anything that comes your way.

Starlight Talent Agency specializes in tv/ film, commercials, and print for all ages. We represent talent for commercial and theatrical entertainment jobs. We are always accepting new motivated talent of all ages. We work alongside such great managers who we have built relationships with and share clients. We have great hard-working agents who handle the day to day for our actors. I am most proud of my accomplishments in such short time, I’m not where I want to be, but I’m on the path to success. Starlight is a family based business built on loyalty & hard work. We’re not associated with any other company, and we only have one location at this time.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes, so many actors & models travel here with the goals of making it in Hollywood. So many agents are based in LA county to represent all sorts of talent. Los Angeles is actually the best city for actors & models besides New York, Atlanta, Miami, etc. So much opportunity here. It’s all about staying focused and putting in the dedicated work. Everyone expects success to happen overnight, don’t be afraid to climb the Hollywood ladder.
