Meet Andre Darville of Jive, Social Media Pro, Driv3, Vfitted in Downtown LA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andre Darville.

Andre, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I decided to drop out of the University of Arizona after my first year in their entrepreneur school and wanted to go experience and learn for myself. I first started with Social Media Pro, this was my first marketing company. I was working for a company in Irvine, a Bluetooth speaker and the owner was very shady. He had me set up his accounts with ad spends of over 150k a month and let me go. After that, I decided I wasn’t going to work for anyone again. I started pursuing small businesses to help them grow and was quickly managing over 15 accounts. This became very time consuming and for what I was charging, I quickly realized it wasn’t worth the money for my time. In the process of growing SMP, I decided to start Vfitted, which is a vegan-based clothing company. We grew the company to over $10,000 a month in sales online.

I met my business partner through one of the companies I was managing and he wanted to start his own exotic rental company. Driv3 was born, we were managing over 30 cars from downtown Los Angeles. After about two years CBD started to break through, I knew it was going to be a huge industry and I was Ted to find a way to break in. I started a CBD beverage company with a couple of major investors and as more people got involved the company took a different direction. I was removed out of my position of owning the company and was placed as head of marketing for the company. At that point I had no choice but to continue as I had dedicated so much time to the company. We grew the company and did over 3 million dollars in one year. I was left on a small salary for basic necessities to live. I remembered that working for others has always let me down in the past and it was happening again. I stepped down and decided I would create my own CBD company with my Driv3 partner and this JIVE CBD was born.

We created cbd protein powder and cbd energy and sleep gummies. Our company has been growing over the last six months. Currently, I am stepping into the real estate world, buying and renting own homes also flipping homes. This is just the beginning of my journey, and I know there is so much more to come.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, lots of trials and tribulations. Pursuing an entrepreneurial lifestyle definitely is not easy and there has been many lessons learned along the way. From shady business partners to investors manipulating companies for their personal gain, bad investments, stolen cars, and much more.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Jive, Social Media Pro, Driv3, Vfitted story. Tell us more about the business.
I pride myself in being very good at marketing and coming up with products. Paying attention to what’s trending and coming up with different products people can use daily. I am most proud of knowing that we conduct good business. No scams, no fraud even though people try to get over on us everyday. Our focus is creating products that will help people in their everyday lives.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Luck has been meeting the right people for me. Everything has been hard work. There has been a lot of bad luck just because there are many people in the world trying to scam and do business for their own personal gain but if I let that stop me then I would let them win and I can’t do that.
