Meet Ambrosio Rodriguez of The Rodriguez Law Group in Downtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ambrosio Rodriguez.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
After I graduated from Georgetown Law School, I went to work on Capitol Hill. I did not like it very much, and after three years I moved to California and went to work at the Riverside DAs Office.

After 13 years at the DAs Office which includes four years in the Sex Crimes Unit (three of them as the Trial Team Leader) and five years in the Homicide Unit, I decided to start my own firm in LA. At first, it was just me and a laptop, but after a few months I ended up renting a small office.

I am very thankful to say that after almost six years The Rodriguez Law Group has grown into a full-service law firm with five attorneys, two assistants, and a private detective.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s always a challenge to start something new. I wanted to create a law firm that specializes in criminal defense with great results and a commitment to excellence.

We’d love to hear more about your firm.
We specialize in criminal defense. My firm is as diverse as the area we serve. We speak Spanish, Arabic, Farsi, and French. I am proudest of our results in court. Not only have we achieved great results in terms of settlements and dismissals, we win in court.

My experience as a DA really prepared me to be a criminal defense attorney and to know how to get a jury to vote not guilty.

What are your plans for the future? What are you looking forward to or planning for – any big changes?
My plan for the firm is to keep growing and serving Southern California.
