Meet Amanda Davidson of Lil’ Posh Resale Baby Boutique in Costa Mesa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Davidson.

Amanda, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Opening Lil Posh Resale Baby Boutique was a wonderful Journey for me. I was born and raised in Orange County and grew up in the Resale Industry, as my father opened a preowned Camera store when I was 14. It was my first job, and I continued to work there throughout High School- where I earned Valedictorian, and throughout College- earning 2 Bachelor’s Degrees at UCSB and a Master’s Degree at UCI. I later put my College Degrees to use, and became a Child Abuse Investigator for the County of Riverside for 5 years. After the birth of my Beautiful son Jayden in 2010, I found myself extremely immersed in the “Baby Products World,” scouring Craigslist for the best deals on the “Hottest” Strollers and Baby Products. My taste was high and my funds were low. This didn’t stop me from acquiring the best Baby Gear, I just had to work hard to find it at the Best Price! Before long, my friends would come to me asking to help them find the best gear too… on a shoestring budget none the less! I knew I had to channel my passion and hunt for amazing baby products to a more constructive avenue- hence, Lil Posh Baby Resale Boutique was born (no pun intended 😉 Going on 6 years now, I love my customers and am blessed with the opportunity to own a Baby Boutique, like no other!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Hard work is never easy and customer service can be a tricky at times, it’s hard to make everyone happy all the time. However, I do my best to run an honest business built on Fairness and Value. We really take pride in customer service and I love the one on one feel our “mom and pop” style Resale Baby Boutique offers the Southern California Community.

Lil’ Posh Resale Baby Boutique – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Lil’ Posh Resale Baby Boutique buys and sells gently loved baby products and gear directly from customers, paying cash up front, and giving the opportunity for other families to enjoy the products and the savings! We are a family business, with a “Boutique-like” feel, offering our customers 30-70% savings off of retail pricing. We specialize in High End Baby Gear, such as Bugaboo, Stokke, Nuna, Baby Jogger, Uppababy, 4moms and more, and also give the opportunity for customers to trade in items and receive a higher value. We sell everything baby and toddler related, including strollers, high chairs, clothing, carriers, toys, cribs, swings and more! We post products Daily on Instagram and Facebook, and the majority of our items sell pretty fast. We offer customers the opportunity to purchase over the phone, and pick up the items later- just to make things a bit more convenient. Being Family Owned, we instill a Family Style Atmosphere with our customers, and are very appreciative of their business and the wonderful merchandise they sell us on a daily basis. We acknowledge that without them, we couldn’t be us, and for that we are truly blessed.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Proud Moments exist every day for me and my business. I do what I love! I get to save people lots of money on amazing gently loved baby products. I am very particular about what we buy, and take pride in offering the best items at the best prices. I can’t lie, Reaching 20,000+ Followers on social media also feels pretty good too!
