Thanks for sharing your story with us David. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
After completing my surgical training in New York City, it was time to head back home to LA and pursue my dream of building a Facial Plastic Surgery Practice. My aesthetic focus is not to change a person’s identity but to enhance each individual’s natural Allure. With this in mind, it was only natural to name my practice – Allure Aesthetic Surgery. For me the word Allure has connotation of elegance, mystery and sensuality – all part of the vision I wanted to convey in my practice.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I’m a big-time dreamer and have a philosophy of “Go Big or Go Home”. My goal was to build a practice and a brand in the heart of Beverly Hills, which is a global destination for plastic surgery. It has been a tremendous personal risk building a practice from the ground up among some of the country’s most successful surgeons, but I decided early on to invest in myself and my brand. Rather than working for someone else I wanted to control my destiny and develop a unique vision – combining cutting edge, innovative techniques alongside the fundamental aesthetic techniques of Facial Plastic Surgery.
I feel, in life each individual is presented with only a few opportunities that can make or break your fortune. You either make the right move and succeed, or miss the chance and always ask yourself “What if?” For me this opportunity presented itself with the chance to join the prestigious Lasky Clinic in Beverly Hills, one of the premiere plastic surgery centers and the first free-standing ambulatory surgery center in all of Los Angeles. At the time, it was a considerable financial commitment but this provided the venue to build a successful brand. This was my passion and I decided to pursue it.
That being said, it was definitely a struggle at first but my resolution to succeed never wavered. I started with only a few patients, most of which consisted of family and close friends, but with a focus on trust and excellent results we have built a loyal clientele of many long-standing patients and friends that we serve today. In fact, almost all my patients have my personal cell phone number and I am always available for them. I learned quickly that the best publicity is a happy patient. When a patient is under my care, I consider them as one of my own family and that leaves a lasting impression on them and on me, personally.

I use my expertise and cutting-edge techniques to create a natural nose that empowers the Allure of the eyes and lips to shine. During surgery, I address both the aesthetic and the structure of the nose to deliver beautiful, long-lasting results without compromising the nasal airway.
In addition, we also offer excellent non-surgical treatments with injectables such as facial fillers, Botox, and Kybella. Kybella is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment to permanently eliminate the fat that produces a “double chin”. When injected into the fat beneath your chin, Kybella permanently eliminates fat cells. In my practice, I personally administer the series of simple injections spaced about 6 weeks apart. Many patients experience a considerable improvement after two treatment sessions.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up in LA, I was an avid hiker. I liked nature and the introspective quality of being away from the hustle and bustle of the City of Angels. I loved the trails along the Santa Monica Mountains. I remember heading to Will Rogers Park with cousins early Sunday mornings and enjoying the crisp breeze and awesome ocean views. My favorite trails are in Griffith Park near the Observatory, which also offers, in my opinion, the most amazing sunset peering over the entire LA landscape.
