Meet Alexis Ramirez of Itts Lexxi in LA Fashion District

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Ramirez.

Alexis, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was born in AZ I came to California when I was 5 I woke up in LA first and loved Cali I came to the IE and grew up but through out my whole life every photographer every professional opportunity has been from or in LA and I can’t get to LA because I don’t make enough money I had four jobs but cocktail and catering didn’t schedule me enough hours so I left then the warehouse off loading job I had let 40 people go with no warning then my last job I’ve been here three years I worked in corona as a paintball Reffere at SC village a few years ago I Started to go to photo shoot meets hosted on the streets of LA as many times as I could asking for a ride to LA I have grown my modeling from the last year so much but still I can’t get to LA as much as I want the LA meets that welcomed me to LA and showed me the amazing fashion district and downtown of LA are @art_and_chill @storyfilmz @pullup_LA @creep_meet_LA and @sneakmeetLA I hope to continue to grow my modeling because I’m a model with scars and flaws and still I never give up. 🙏🏻

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not having a working car to travel to LA. Not having access to many opportunities. Looking for sponsors.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I model and I host public street meets with photographers and first-timer models to have both parties gain more success local to me because I can never get to La I’m proud of how far I’ve come and even if I take a break I always come back to modeling and I’ve had so many problems with hating the way I look and wanting to end my life now I’m happy and love the way I look I’m proud I changing my view on life by putting my eyes through the lens.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from childhood was getting my first look at California through LAs eyes and finding out I have a huge sweet tooth.
