Meet Alexandra Skiba

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandra Skiba.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was born to a father in investment banking and an artist mother who gave me a beautiful life covered in wonderful education and insight into the world of art culture good food and beauty. I started perusing my dreams of becoming an actor at the age of 10 in school plays! I took a play I did with the brother school I was at in England called Eton up to the Edinburgh film festival. I studied at all the best conservatories and techniques and acting styles and never looked back. I’ve been acting in Television and Films in Los Angeles for about five years now and love influencing on Instagram on the side. I got the sales bug for sales and marketing from my Dad and actually really enjoy doing what I do and promoting healthy organic amazing companies that are giving back to people’s self-image and overall health and wellness like Andrea Hopf’s chocolate for example. I’m currently sponsored by seven companies on IG that promote organic clean healthy living and lifestyle. Ogee is a huge favorite of mine and I constantly share my enthusiasm for the organic beauty line I think will be a huge success and company to watch for in the future of luxury organic beauty brands.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Although I have had a beautiful life filled with joy love and laughter it hasn’t always been an easy road. The past two years for me were some of the toughest years of my life I believe. I tragically lost my brother who was like a twin to me in his sleep in December of 2017. This shook me to my very core and took every part of my soul for me and my family to recover it’s something we share as a loss we will never forget but I can honor my brother in continuing to pursue my dreams of being a Hollywood Movie Star like he always knew I would be.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
My name is my brand. Alexandra Skiba is who I am and I am my own brand of fun creative sexy and girl next door fun. I take great pride in creating beautiful content for my sponsors on IG and promoting a healthy lifestyle for all my followers to take care of their health. I am driven and determined and will never give up until I achieve what I want. What sets me apart from the crowd I believe is being true to who I am and never straying from my real authentic self, never hiding how I feel and what I am truly passionate about. I’m a leader and have always had the ability to influence others for good and I use my influence and magnetic pull and power for the forces of good in this world. I am proud of what I have overcome despite my loss and believe I make my brother proud in heaven when I continue to work hard, act in plays at Playhouse West, keep developing learning and growing in my craft and enjoy creating new and exciting video content for my own acting reel and to share with the world and my following.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I would have to say my favorite memory growing up was one of my father taking me to audition for Juilliard when I was just 15 years old. We lived in England at the time and he flew us both on my favorite aircraft Virgin Atlantic first class to New York in the dead of winter. We got snowed in and there was actually a true New York blizzard outside the audition doors and he stayed with his little Princess and showed his support the entire way through. This meant everything to me and I actually made it to the 30 out of 1000 at 15 there. I’ll never forget what that meant to me.
