Meet Adrian Tan of Realty Executives – The Brandolino Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrian Tan.

Adrian, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Having been born in the Philippines and moved to the US when I was 14 years old I wanted to pursue the privileged opportunity the U.S. can provide. I didn’t know what it was. I just wanted to have something for myself that I can pass down to my children. A legacy.

I knew that corporate America wasn’t going to be it. Having gone through college and getting a degree in Business Management from CSUN, I knew I had that entrepreneurial spirit in me that corporate America couldn’t provide. I stumbled upon real estate. I was answering phones for Realty Executives when I was 19 yrs old and my trainer enlightened me what having a real estate business can provide.

I got licensed and hired a coach, and almost 20 years later, I still get excited serving clients and being a part of their real estate portfolio. It truly is an honor being a part of many people’s biggest investments. We range our service from people downsizing, upgrading their homes, property management, investments, portfolio management and many other aspects of the real estate industry.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I believe that challenges create opportunities and failures are the biggest lessons in life. It wasn’t a smooth road the last 20 years however, It’s been a progressive realization of goals that I have aspired to achieve.

Back then, being so young in real estate, I had to conquer my competition by immersing myself in real estate and backed my knowledge by putting myself through college while helping families buy and sell homes.

I minored in finance and hired a real estate coach that allowed me to be one of the top agents in my community within a short period of time.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Realty Executives – The Brandolino Group – what should we know?
On a daily basis, we have many things going on. As a team, we have a division that handles property management of over 200 commercial & residential units across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

I manage the sales division where daily we focus on putting buyers and sellers of homes together. Then we have an investment division lead by my partner Jeff Brandolino who manages millions of dollars and makes sure it grows through buying, selling, investing in real estate.

Today, we are the #1 team four years in a row now of a company of over 200 agents and teams and #6 international for Realty Executives. Our professionalism, capacity, and versatility in real estate helps our clients achieve their goals much faster and more efficiently.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
It would be dishonorable of me not to mention the people that have helped me along the way — my mentors. I was introduced to mentorship at a young age. I remember reading a proverb “If you give a man a fish you feed him for a day, you teach a man to fish you feed him for life.”

I wanted to learn to fish and got introduced to Mike Ferry who is considerably the top real estate trainer who has trained more successful agents to date. To date, I am still a part of his coaching program and meet some of the most inspiring people that do what I do.

He and the people that are a part of his organization has helped me see things bigger, do better and be a better person for my family and friends. I also immersed myself in personal development programs such as Landmark Education and PSI Seminars. Those have been transformational.
