Meet Adi Hed and Tamir Elghanayan of Tadibrothers in West Los Angleles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adi Hed and Tamir Elghanayan.

Adi and Tamir, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Tadibrothers was started while in college. We were selling all sorts of car electronics from radios to DVD players. We then added backup cameras to our product lineup. We soon discovered that the market needed a better solution for the need of backup cameras. There were few options and for a monitor you basically had to hack into a DVD player monitor. Mind you, this was a long time ago. We started to create new product lines that we designed to fit market needs such as smaller more compact monitors with the sole use with a backup camera. We also created systems with multiple cameras including side cameras. After graduation, we honed in on those products and created what the market demanded and we enjoyed as well. Backup Cameras are something everyone who drives can use and we now supply something for everyone

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There were definitely struggles as there are in every business. We have had a lot of R & D to make sure we create a solid product that lasts the life of the vehicle. That took a bit of work but after hard work and final tweets we are very happy and stand behind what we sell. We have customers that have used our systems for years and years and call when they purchase another vehicle and need another system

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Tadibrothers – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are known for selling backup cameras also known as rear view cameras and parking sensors. Basically, vehicle safety is our number one goal. Whether you have a Mini or a huge RV we have a system for you. We have made specialized sensor systems for the City of San Diego. We have sold surround reverse camera systems to major trucking companies in Switzerland. We always make sure the customer gets what they want and it works exactly as they want it to work. Of course, a lot of our business is local retail and retail around the country. We make sure our customers get all the help they need when installing their system. We have tech support and even offer to find local installers

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We want to continue to provide a product that works and actually saves lives. We have had customers call to tell us there was a kid playing they could not see and just wanted to thank us. Obviously, they took the time to install and buy a system so they did their part, but we are very proud to be able to supply that product.
