Meet Adam Yoser of Pacific Chiropractic and Natural Health in Brentwood and West Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Yoser.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’ve been in practice for twenty-eight years specializing in chiropractic sportsmedicine.

I have a wide experience treating athletes from various sports while participating as a staff doctor at Women’s Pro Beach Volleyball, American Jiu-Jitsu Association International Tournament, National In-Line Skating Series, Los Angeles Marathon, I.O.G.K.F. California Karate State Championship and World Oceanman Series. Dr. Yoser currently treats many yoga teachers throughout Los Angeles and is a chiropractic consultant to Maha Yoga studio.

As the Medical Director of the U.S. Open of Surfing and Budweiser Surf Tour, I coordinated a multi-disciplinary staff of D.C.’s, M.D.’s, P.T.’s, massage therapists and acupuncturists. I served in this capacity for nine years.

I was a member of the Board of Directors and sportsmedicine instructor at the Shiatsu Massage School of California.

I was also a contributing editor to “Surfing Magazine” and “Swim Magazine.” I authored a continuing education series for the dental profession “Prevention and Management of Neck and Back Pain.” I lectured at UCLA School of Dentistry, UCLA School of Nurse Practitioners and various dental societies.

I currently own a private practice in Brentwood/Santa Monica providing chiropractic, acupuncture and massage therapy services. I am part of the UCLA Healthcare System.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Los Angeles is a very competitive market for integrative health practitioners. I grew up in a small town in Connecticut where a good doctor’s reputation easily spreads by word of mouth. It’s taken a lot of effort in patient care for that reputation to build.

I have worked within the UCLA Health System for eighteen years. It has taken a proven track record of positive patient results and feedback to help educate some of the skeptics in the medical profession about the benefits of chiropractic care.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Our company, Pacific Chiropractic and Natural Health, is a wellness center that combines chiropractic sportsmedicine, acupuncture, herbal medicine, and therapeutic massage to create optimal patient health.

The chiropractic sportsmedicine practice provided in our office combines physical therapy modalities, massage techniques, and chiropractic.

We’re very proud of being selected to provide healthcare services at various athletic events. We get personal reward for providing our services at charitable events.

We are also very proud of our affiliation with the UCLA Healthcare System.

What were you like growing up?
I grew up in coastal Connecticut and loved the beach and nature of southeastern Connecticut.

I enjoyed using my hands primarily to create artwork and that later translated into using my hands for chiropractic.

I was interested in art world of different cultures, especially Asian art. I enjoyed fitness and participated in track and field during my high school and college years
