Meet Aaron Wilson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Wilson.

So, before we jump into specific questions about your career, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am originally from the east coast. Brockton, Massachusetts. “City of Champions”. Even though my city is known for it’s Champions, I did not feel like one, to say the least bit.

I struggled from long years of insecurity and self-doubt. I always wanted to try out being an entertainer from a young age, but I was so insecure, that I always ran away from every opportunity that came my way.

As of today, I can proudly say I am an entertainer blazing a trail in Hollywood as we speak. I am a motivational speaker, actor, singer-songwriter, author, and producer.

You really can go after your dreams, when you say to your self, “What do I have to lose, I got to give it all I got!”

Has it been a smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road, many bumps, dead ends, and sometimes even looping around the same route back and forth constantly.

Some of the struggles along the way were self-doubt, lack of knowledge on how to go about things, and financial setbacks or the lack of finances completely.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I am a Motivational Speaker, actor, and singer. I speak to high schools and youth organizations on how to “Overcoming their fears”. I also act in tv, commercials, and film. As a company, I am most proud of my self produced work. For example, my songwriting and the songs I produced thus far. Also keep a look out for my web series dropping later this year called “Life As Such”! And I am proud of my overall speaking career, from building these programs on my own, to actually now having a small team and operations, and being able to eventually spread the message across the globe.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Well, considering I am in about three different industries (acting, speaking, and singing). I’ll break this up.

Acting – The Actor will have to have a strong package, strong industry relationships established, and the ability to create one’s own content. You need more than an agent and manager to excel and get ahead of the game.

Speaking – Especially for the Youth Industry, the question to ask is, “What does a young person truly need right now in this stage of their life”. Next is…”how can you connect to them?”.

Singing – For singers, express your gift every opportunity you get your hands on, even if it’s scary. Be able to consistently be vulnerable and expressive.
