Meet Philip Jeremiah of 305 Motoring in Mid City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Philip Jeremiah.

Philip, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My love of cars started at 16 with my first car. That’s when I developed a love and passion for all things automotive. Shortly after that I went to school to be an auto mechanic. After floating around different segments of the auto industry I found that I was most drawn to sales and beautifying cars (i.e. customization, restoration).

I started my business as a detail shop in Silver Springs, MD named Exotic Details and Accessories. Moved to Miami and changed the name to 305 Motoring where we became a full automotive business including customization, fabrication, and transportation. Having done business in L.A. for a while, in 2014 we decided to relocate our office. We entered into auto brokering space which brings the dealership to you.

We start with an auto consultation which includes having a one on one discussion about what the client wants and needs in a car. The next step is for our experts to find, negotiate and deliver your new vehicle to your home or office. Eliminating the hassle of dealing with the dealership.

We are still involved in all aspects of automotive and enjoy helping people with all aspects of owning/leasing a car including body work, mechanic work. If you are too busy to do any of the above, we take care of that for a fee.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Business is never smooth, there is always a challenge, but through every challenge you learn something and it makes you a better entrepreneur. In my business it can be challenging to find the right car for the right person. Especially in terms of finances. We bridge the gap between the client’s wants and their needs. Sometimes people have champagne dreams and a beer budget. We help clients get what they want at a price they can afford.

Another challenge has been relocating and finding a client base in each state. However, offering excellent service builds a client base quickly so it did not take too long get established.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with 305 Motoring – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
What sets us apart is our breadth of services: sales, customization, restoration and transportation. We have 30 years of experience in this industry.

I am most proud of our longevity and ability to change with the times.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Owning a mega shop to handle more volume and allow 305 Motoring to house all aspects of automotive under one roof. We are also looking to develop an app to make brokering a purchase even easier. Clients will be able to find, purchase and receive their vehicle with as few clicks as possible.

I love this! As a car enthusiast we want a one stop shop approach and 305 Motoring is just that and more! Experience and trust speaks volumes and Phillip has that under his belt! This is the roadmap to specialty car buying in future!
