Hi Will, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started A1 Music Group in March 2021 helping loop makers who got left out of major records that their loops were used on. We get them advance, points on master, fair share of publishing, and credited on all platforms as producer and songwriter, and sometimes even a designated artist. We are also able to scan the internet for our client’s loops to see who is using them in real-time, doing this generates more placements than your average major producers and continued catalogue growth. We manage 25 of the top loop makers on the internet currently and are currently 9X Platinum, 34x Billboard charting, and 6x Grammy nominated as of this year. Our independent label/management roster talent ranges from top loop makers and producers like 1srael, Makalo, MarkoLenz, BrookBeatz, JuleeBeats, LenoxBeatmaker, VSonthabeat, HozayBeats, BeatbyJeff, Bounceonthebeat, 29 Million, SkThePlug, Anthony Palmer + more.
We are currently partnered with Beatstars/Sony and our label is repped by the best lawyer in the industry Matt Buser.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has been a somewhat smooth road, I work in corporate for AWS as a recruiter during the day, so constant change and learning new things is something I always embrace as a recruiter. We have never lost a takedown case for our loop makers at A1. We are always learning about IP and copyright laws here at A1 and use that to our advantage to always come out successful with takedowns or people reaching out the correct way to do business from the start. We always get our guys what they want which is fair advance, points on master, and equally split publishing.
How do you define success?
I define success by customer obsession towards my clients and always getting them what they ask for and providing them with additional resources to help them be successful.
