Today we’d like to introduce you to Tina Yang.
Hi Tina, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Tina Yang was working long hours at a corporate job, running on little sleep and lots of coffee. Even on the toughest days, she believed in showing up confidently and for her, that meant feeling good about herself. One day, a friend convinced her to try eyelash extensions, and it changed everything.
She left that appointment feeling brighter, more put-together, and honestly, more like herself. That simple boost sparked a bigger idea: why wasn’t this kind of confidence more accessible to everyone?
With no beauty background but a strong foundation in business and customer experience, Tina left her job, went to cosmetology school, and trained with numerous lash experts to learned everything she could. She wasn’t just starting a lash studio she was building a space where women could show up exactly as they are and leave feeling confident, cared for, and beautiful.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
it was definitely not smooth. Being new and never owned a business before everything was an obstacle, from licensing to remodeling the studio. there was always an obstacle that needed to be solved.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up in an Asian household, I was always taught to be hardworking, respectful, and pay attention to the little things. My family believed in doing everything with care and intention, and I think that really shaped who I am today. Even as a kid, I loved anything creative, especially when it came to beauty. I would sit for hours braiding hair, drawing faces, or watching my aunties do their makeup before family events. I was quiet, observant, and very hands-on. I didn’t realize it back then, but all those small moments were building the foundation for what I do now as a lash artist. I’ve always been someone who finds joy in making others feel good, and I carry that same energy into my work every day.
