Hi Tiffany, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.

Best known as TXVX
Born and raised in Portland Oregon, has been building her solo career as a talented singer songwriter since 2005. Emerging from humble beginnings, her immigrant parents hailed from Thailand and Romania. From an early age, she aspired to be a singer, a passion that persisted into her early adulthood. Navigating a tumultuous home life, she recognized the significance of forging her own path. She stated, “Music and poetry have always served as my outlets for self-expression, allowing me to connect with my inner child and discover healing through the art of music creation.”
Her career launched with an audition at Palms Studio Vegas Nevada with Grammy award winning record producer Tricky Stewart which inspired her to become a self producing musical creator. TXVX preformed with her own band for years until becoming L.A. based, taking over the independent pop music scene as a triple threat stepping into music and vocal production for herself and others. Her sound is amalagation of hypnotic uplifting poetic lyricism fused with electronic soul, curated with live instrumentation that elates top charting sound.
TXVX aspires to create strains that speaks to fans across the musical spectrum. Her signature style soulful sound has become synonymous with a diverse original collection of melodies and compositions that highlight a new form of electronic house, influences of rock, soul and r&b. Best known as a “Genre Bending” she continues to break barriers and lift frequency of the world. July 2024 she became a Grammy Recording Academy member and took second place in Rolling Stones America’s Next Top Hit Maker sponsored by the Grammy Academy non profit Music Cares.
TXVX stands up proudly to lift the voices of AAPI community and women in music by amplifying a more diverse music landscape and cultivating an inclusive environment, she aims to dismantle the barriers that have historically impeded progress. Through community building and advocacy, she envisions a future in which everyone, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to thrive.
She believes that through collaboration and mutual support, the industry can evolve into a space where creativity and talent are the primary standards of success. In this reimagined landscape, the stories and experiences of AAPI individuals and women will be celebrated, enriching the musical tapestry and inspiring future generations to dream boldly and pursue their passions without fear or limitation. This commitment to fostering change and championing diversity is paramount.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Coming from humble beginnings, I faced limited opportunities as a young woman dreaming of a career in the music industry. Lacking financial resources and a family background in music, it often felt as if I had been placed on this earth without direction, left to chart my own course. Over andecade ago moving to Los Angeles, I hoped for substantial changes, but things didn’t go as I had imagined . However, during my second attempt, I managed to build a network and gradually evolved into the person I am today. With the help of social media and networking and people seeing my work ethic put me in the right rooms. This journey took over a decade, during which I acquired valuable experience in business management, fashion production, and account management for major beauty brands. I honed my skills in one-on-one collaboration, team leadership, and staff management—essential abilities for nurturing a vibrant community of artists and musicians. A significant turning point arrived when I welcomed my daughter, now three years old. I made the courageous choice to leave my corporate job and pursue music full-time, a dream that had long been on my agenda. Taking that leap of faith to trust the universe was daunting; I sacrificed my security of a stable job to follow my passion. Yet, it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Today, I am actively building my network and creating the best music of my career, collaborating with extraordinarily talented artists from Los Angeles. I am proud to be among the 3.6 percent of women in music production, and I feel honored to be part of this field. It’s rare to encounter multifaceted creators like myself—those who write songs, produce records, and engineer tracks. I believe it’s time we allow women to reach their full potential, especially in an industry that remains predominantly male. This is an exhilarating space to thrive in, and I am truly grateful for where I stand today. My struggles have been precisely what I needed for growth.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in music production, vocal production, song writing, audio engineering, mixing and mastering and can create a song front to back for myself, clients and collaborators. I specialize in reference tracking for major labels and I do a lot of private contracts as a songwriter, which usually means I don’t get any writing credits, I just get paid out which can be hard building my name when it comes to these type of business contracts. As a professional singer and performer, I’ve worked with DJS, live cover bands, done weddings, corporate events! Whether collaborating with fellow artists, mentoring up-and-coming talents, or exploring new genres, I strive to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation. My journey has been filled with unforgettable experiences, from performing on grand stages to intimate studio sessions where magic happens. Each project is not just a job, but a passion project, where I pour my heart and soul into every note and lyric. One of my core beliefs is the power of music to unite and inspire people from all walks of life. Music is a universal language, capable of transcending barriers and touching hearts in ways that words alone cannot. By championing diversity and inclusion within the industry, I hope to create spaces where every voice is heard and every story is valued. Looking forward, I am excited about the endless possibilities that lie ahead. With each new song, each new collaboration, and each new technological advancement, I am reminded of the boundless potential of music. It is my ultimate goal to leave a lasting impact on the world through my work, to inspire others to find their own voice, and to contribute to a richer, more vibrant musical tapestry.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Spending time with family and friends fills my heart with joy and reminds me of the beauty of human connection in this social media driven world. The laughter, shared stories, and warm embraces create a tapestry of moments that I cherish deeply as a multidimensional artist. Creating music is my life long passion and to me is a universal language that transcends time and space. When I create art, I feel a profound sense of freedom, expression and connection. Each note and melody becomes a part of my legacy, a piece of my soul that can touch others even long after I’m gone. These experiences and creations are my way of leaving a positive mark on the world, a testament to the love and creativity that define my existence.
