Today we’d like to introduce you to Thee Hermanas. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Thee Hermanas all started with our passion for dance. Us 3 sisters started dancing from a very young age and since then dance has been the only thing we’ve known so one day we thought why not share it with others. After years of choreographing dances in our bedroom and friends and family encouraging us to start a business, we finally choreographed our first quinceanera in 2019. Becoming Thee Hermanas and sharing our passion through choreographing for special events has brought us so many opportunities such as performing in amazing venues with professional company Ballet Folklorico de Los Angeles, photoshoots, and even music videos.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Being sisters and running a business is as smooth as it sounds. We definitely have our ups and downs choreography-wise, but we love what we do and we love that we can do it together.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Thee Hermanas are known for their love for dance, specifically for choreographing. We choreograph memorable dances for quinceaneras, weddings, and other special events. We create choreography for all genres of dance from waltzes to hip hop to salsas. We love working with clients and making their ideas come to life through the art of dance. Thee Hermanas not only choreographs for events but also enjoy taking on visual projects such as photoshoots and music videos. We’re always most proud of our clients and how much hard work they put into learning choreography.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
Our favorite childhood memory would have to be performing at our community’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting. We danced with our community group every year for almost ten years; dancing on that stage was so fulfilling to us as performers and we are so happy that we get to continue exploring and performing on different stages with our current group, Ballet Folklorico de Los Angeles.
